FoFoCup for Marathon

Every running event generates an unknown amount of waste. While some runners bring their own reusable cups, most conventional eco-friendly cups are inconvenient to carry. Some runners even clip a paper cup onto their clothing while running. But isn't there a better solution?

Yes! Introducing the FoFoCup, a collapsible, ultra-lightweight, reusable cup that can be folded flat in an instant and used thousands of times!

The 8oz FoFoCup weighs less than 12g, making it effortless to hold or tuck into a pocket without burdening runners. Now, a special version designed for road races and marathons is available—just the cup body, without extra packaging, manuals, or cartridges. This makes it easier to use, more cost-effective, and even more eco-friendly.

However, we must also learn from past mistakes in "one-cup-only" road races and marathons:

❌ Using box water dispensers where runners must pour their own water. Box water flows slowly, requires both hands, and causes congestion, leading to complaints.
✅ Prepare cups of water in advance and have volunteers pour water into runners’ FoFoCup.
✅ Use a single hand operatable water dispenser truck for easy access.
❌ Using box water dispensers without puncturing a hole at the top of the water bag inside the box. Without proper airflow, water flow is too slow.
✅ If runners must pour their own water, ensure an adequate number of box water dispensers and always cut a hole in the water bag to allow air in, improving flow efficiency!
❌ No separation at hydration stations, forcing competitive runners to compete with casual participants for water.
